STAGE 5 ISN'T A DESTINATION - IT'S A DISCIPLINE

My wife and I were on vacation recently, and we ended up in a heated conversation (yeah an argument).

And I’ll be honest with you—I got loud.

I was out of pocket.

We were in conflict, trying to work through it, and she stopped me mid-discussion and asked, “What stage do you think you’re at right now?”

That question hit me hard.

I had to pause…

And after thinking about it, I told her: “Stage 3.”

That moment was an aha for me.

It reminded me that Stage 5 isn’t a destination—it’s a discipline.

You don’t just get there and stay.

You move.

You shift.

And sometimes, you slip.

Most of us fluctuate between Stage 4 and Stage 5.

And sometimes—if we’re not careful—we can dip back to Stage 3.

But the goal?

The goal is to stay as close to Stage 5 as possible.

To be consistent.

To respond, not react.

To grow through it, not just go through it.

And the only way to do that is with daily practice and real accountability.

That’s why I built the Stage 5 Challenge—because I needed it too.

In the Challenge, we’ll build routines, strategies, and habits to help you keep Stage 5 top of mind.

If you’ve ever felt yourself slipping…

Or you’re tired of reacting like the old version of you…

This is your moment to reset.

Hope this helps
