WHEN'S THE LAST TIME YOU CHECKED IN - WITH YOU?

Most men don’t burn out from doing too much.
We burn out from ignoring what matters.
And what matters most often isn’t what’s on the calendar or in the bank account—it’s what’s going on inside.
When’s the last time you really checked in with yourself—emotionally?
Not just “I’m good” or “I’m handling it”…
But actually slowed down and asked:
What am I carrying?
What am I avoiding?
What do I need—but haven’t said out loud?
Stage 5 means being connected internally.
It means being vulnerable enough to share—not just surface stuff, but what’s real—with the one who loves you most.
For my ladies reading this…

I remember when my wife used to ask me, “Are you OK?” or “How are you?”
And without even thinking, I’d give the standard: “I’m good.”
But the truth? I wasn’t always good—I was just used to not going there emotionally.
Then she changed the way she asked.
She stopped asking what I was doing or how I was…She started asking, “How are you feeling?”
That one shift—it opened the door.
It gave me space to check in with myself… and to finally let her in.
Sometimes your man doesn’t need advice or solutions.
He just needs space to feel.
And the right question can unlock something he’s been holding in for years.
This isn’t about being soft. It’s about being strong enough to feel—and solid enough to be known.
I’m diving into this and more at the Stage 5 Challenge Intro Workshop.
This is where we build from the inside out.
